Strategic consultant (corporative accounts)

Our client, an office furniture solutions firm, is currently looking for a strategic consultant specialized in corporate accounts. The incumbent will develop the company’s business network by approaching new clients, negotiate sales contracts with them and develop the sales team strategy.

TASK DESCRIPTION:

  • Help the company’s clientele grow by establishing unique business relationships with new clients;
  • Set sales goals that match the company’s corporative development;
  • Increase the purchase volume of existing customers;
  • Analyze each account’s specific requirements to suggest the best possible solutions for the client, and minimize unsatisfaction as well as product deficiency;
  • Stay informed about competitors, and participate in networking activities;
  • Take part in all steps of the sales cycle, including negotiations with manufacturers and planning the installation in the customer’s workspace.

 

  • REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Vocational diploma (DEP) or CEGEP diploma (DEC) in sales, business management, or equivalent;
  • 10 years’ experience in sales, preferably in the design or furniture industries;
  • A pre-existing network of clients will be considered as a valuable asset;
  • Ability to negotiate and to multi-task;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook);
  • Valid driver’s license and car;
  • Functional knowledge of French and English, Bilingualism will be considered a valuable asset.
